Booka Shade – Regenerate

with 2 comments

Regenerate” is the third single from album “Move!“, fourth album of German duo Booka Shade. Walter Merziger and Arno Kammermeier have enjoyed a meteoric rise since establishing themselves with their breakthrough album “Memento” in 2004. Worldwide club hits such as “Body Language”, “Mandarine Girl”, “Darko”, “In White Rooms” and “Charlotte” followed, as well as their classic electronic album “Movements” in 2006 and third album “The Sun & the Neon Light” in 2008.

Their fourth album “Move!” saw the light in April 2010. The first single from the album “Bad Girl” was released on Get Physical as EP on April 28, 2010, the second was “Teenage Spaceman“. And finally it’s time of my favorite track from the album “Regenerate“. As a big fan of female vocal I’m really amazed how they weave a haunting voice of  Elsieanne Caplette through bouncing synths and an epic breakdown.

Regenerate” was released on November 23, 2010 and includes remixes from Pan-Pot, Popof, Kris Menace, Lazersonic & Zak Frost, as well as remixes from Beatport remix competition winner Pysh (aka Filip Abramczyk from Warsaw) and runner up Luke Mandala. Limited edition vinyl will also be released December 6th.
