Lee Neilson aka The Jazzloungerz is the new rising star in the soulful house music scene. He has been djing since 1999 on a professional level but, as he told in interview to Beatport, he bought his first set of decks a couple of years prior to that and bugged his mates with mixtapes until one got picked up by a promoter and he gave him a try out.

His first official release as Jazzloungerz was “Joy” on Reelgroove label in March 2008. With vocal assistance sensationally delivered by Maxyne Ryan and remixes from Richard Earnshaw, Filin Brake and Liquid Breeze Project this track has been getting major support from all the big hitters including radio show opening from Fish Go Deep, through to club and playlist from leading artists such as DJ Meme, Christian Hornbostel, Danny Clark, Alfred Azzetto and DJ Spen.

With the help from Headtrip and vocal from La Chase he released his next single “Loveblind” on Seamless label in October 2008. This song also was huge success and was remixed by Gabriel & Castellon, Greg Stainer, Pado & Stephan and Central Avenue. Recently he also created his own remixes on Physics “Don’t Ya Want” and Joey Silvero “Sounds Of Love”.

But my most favorite song from Jazzloungerz is his latest “Obsession“. This outstanding release features an amazing spoken word vocal courtesy of Rainy Payne, and combined with the lush chords, this will make you feel like you have been transported to New York City. This time some truly brilliant remixes was produced by Dutch duo Born To Funk, Australian born US West Coaster Vincent Kwok, rising producer from Dubai Nick Tohme and DJ Groover from Serbia. “Obsession” also was released on Seamless label on December 29th, 2008.
