French electronic music duo Justice consists of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay.
The duo is the most successful group on Ed Banger Records especially after release in June 2007 of their first album † (or “Cross”). Album give out such successful singles as “D.A.N.C.E.”, “DVNO” and “Phantom”.
Latest single from this highly successful album is track “Tthhee Ppaarrttyy” featuring Anna-Catherine Hartley, better known by her stage name Uffie. She is an American-born, Paris-based singer who incorporates the genres of synthpop, electronica, hip hop and dance into her music. She released two EP “Pop the Glock ” in 2006 and “Suited and Looted” in 2007, 4 singles and worked together with Crystal Castles, Scanners, Curtis Vodka , as well on track “Steroids” for latest album of Mr Oizo.
In 2009 Justice won a Grammy Award for Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical for their remix of MGMT‘s “Electric Feel“. They also remixed songs of Klaxons, Mr Oizo, ZZT, Justin Timberlake, Franz Ferdinand, Mystery Jets, Soulawax, Daft Punk and Fatboy Slim. Xavier de Rosnay also produced the Midfield General‘s single “Disco Sirens” in 2008 and they both produced track “The Parachute Ending” for Birdy Nam Nam.
“Tthhee Ppaarrttyy” was released digitally on 24th February 2009, but two month before became Essential New Tune in famous Pete Tong radio show “Essential Selection”.
