Fenech-Soler

Fenech-Soler is a British electropop band consisting of four members – Ross Duffy, Ben Duffy, Daniel Soler and Andrew Lindsay. Since their early teens, they’ve made music on home computers in the village of Kings Cliffe, Northamptonshire north of London. They formed Fenech-Soler in 2008. It features singer Ben Duffy and guitarist Ross Duffy, both brothers, and friends bassist/keyboardist Daniel Soler and drummer Andrew Lindsay. Despite the indie rock instruments, they sound more electronic.

Their debut album named “Fenech-Soler” was released on 27 September 2010 through B-Unique label. The band have already released three singles from this album – “The Cult Of Romance“, “Stop And Stare“, which peaked at number 102 on the UK Singles Chart and “Lies“, which was released on 20 September 2010. Their next single “Demons” will be released in 2011 and is already played in Radio 1 shows of Pete Tong and Annie Mac, especially remix from Yuksek. Their works are great for reworking, each single has some brand name remixers such as Alan Braxe on “The Cult Of Romance”, Jaymo & Andy George, Mighty Mouse, Reset and Tony Senghore on “Stop And Stare” and Herve, Alex Metric, Grum and Disco Of Doom on “Lies”.

Fenech-Soler also great remixers in their own right and already reworked such tracks as “Hollywood” from Marina And The Diamonds, “Running Out” from Mimo, “Self Control” from Sunday Girl and “Kickstarts” from Example. The band have produced a minimix aired on Annie Mac’s show on BBC Radio 1. Lead vocalist Ben Duffy was featured on the Groove Armada track “Paper Romance“, taken from their latest album “Black Light”.
